A COMPASS Home Energy annual heat pump service includes a full visual inspection, external unit clean, filter check, refrigerant pressure check, pipework and connection checks, electrical safety checks, performance verification, controls review and G3 service and safety checks.

The aim is to confirm that the system is clean, safe and operating as it should, while giving the homeowner a clearer view of anything that may need attention.

What is not included

An annual service does not include fixing a faulty heat pump. If the system already has fault codes, failed parts, refrigerant issues or a fault that needs diagnosis and repair, that work is quoted and billed separately.

That separation keeps pricing clear: servicing is preventative inspection and maintenance, while repair work is handled as a separate diagnostic or remedial visit.

Service pricing

The annual heat pump service is £200. Homeowners can also book both their 2026 and 2027 services together for £350.
