Before you book

Not sure if your heat pump actually needs a service?

Ask Luke first. Send the heat pump make, what it is doing, and whether you have any fault codes. You will get a practical steer on whether you need a routine service, repair diagnosis or a settings check.

Routine service

Book a service if the system is working but overdue.

A routine annual service is right when the heat pump is generally working, but needs inspection, cleaning, checks, controls review and a clear health check before the colder months.

  • System is due its yearly check
  • No active major fault codes
  • Heating and hot water are broadly working
  • You want confidence before winter
Repair or diagnosis

Ask first if something is already wrong.

If the heat pump is not heating, has active fault codes, is unusually noisy or has no hot water, routine servicing may not be the correct first appointment.

  • Fault code showing
  • No heating or no hot water
  • Very high electricity use
  • Controls or settings feel wrong
Low pressure next step

Ask an engineer before paying for the wrong visit.

A quick WhatsApp message is often enough to decide whether you need a service, diagnosis or a proper performance review.
